GSI-2000 CRT communication driver

 

GSI-2000 CRT communication driver is the driver to communicate with GSI-200 CRT controller of Gumsung fire & security Co., Ltd. in Korea.

 

1. Read settings

 

<Figure 1> is read setting example of GSI-2000 CRT communication driver.

Device part of  <Figure 1> input Com Port(COM1), Baud Rate(9600), Parity Bit(0), Data Bit(8), Stop Bit(1) respectively according to setting of controller.

Also you can input use of 'Save/Load WORD Memory When Uninit/Init¡¯ (0 = don't use, 1 = use, default : 1), 'AN Detector Read Intervals'(0 ~ 60000 mSec, default : 5000) and use of 'New Protocol Equipment'(0 = don't use, 1 = use, default : 1)  by using option part.

 

GSI-2000 CRT communication driver read schedule

Read schedule setting parameters are as follows:

1) STATION – Receiver controller number = 0 ~ 15.

2) Read command – command = READ, AN_REQ1, AN_REQ2. ( Refer to <Table 1> )

READ : read command of fire protection data,

AN_REQ1 : read command of photoelectronic type AN detector data,

AN_REQ2 : read command of constant temperature type AN detector data,

3) Repeater number – 1 ~ 127 readper number when AN_REQ1, AN_REQ2 read command.

4) Save start address for Communication Server – saveing start address of Communication Server.

5) Read size or system number – Read size or system number.

AN_REQ1, AN_REQ2 read command : 1 ~ 8 system number.

READ read command : read size = fixed to 1. ( refer to <Table 1> )

Note) GSI-2000 CRT communication driver read communication data between CRT, repeater, receiver.

So, the communication driver don't send read request packet.

But, AN_REQ1, AN_REQ2 read command send read request packet by setting intervals(at option part).

Readed data from AN_REQ1, AN_REQ2 reading command = 0 ~ 255, readed data = real value x 10. (real data = readed data / 10 )

GSI-2000 CRT communication driver stores only at the WORD memory.

 If you click the icon  in protocol option part, you can see the dialogue box such as <Figure 2>. you can also set read schedule by using this part.

You can set read schedule by using , , button and listbox of <Figure 2>. 

Use of Save/Load WORD Memory When Uninit/Init, AN Detector Read Intervals and use of New Protocol Equipment can set by using the part of ¡®Save/Load WORD Memory When Uninit/Init¡¯, ¡®AN Sensor Read Time¡¯, ¡®New Protocol Equipment¡¯ shown in <Figure 2>.

When you click Add button or Edit button in dialogue box of <Figure 2>, dialogue box of <Figure 3> is shown.

 

2. Writing settings

You can control receiver by using write settings.

 

Digital Write

Digital write and analog write have the same setting parameters except output value. 

 

Analog Write

Analog write setting parameters are as follows:

1)  PORT                   Port no. (0 ~ 255)

2)  STATION             Receiver controller number = 0 ~ 15.

3)  ADDRESS          Repeater number or setting type number.(decimal unit)

FIRE1, FIRE2, FIRE3, FIRE4, OUTPUT1, OUTPUT2 command(Extra1) : 1 ~ 127 repeater number.

  SWITCH command(Extra1) : 0 ~ 21 setting type.

other command : don't care.

4)  Extra1                   Write command =  FIRE1, FIRE2, FIRE3, FIRE4, OUTPUT1, OUTPUT2, SWITCH, AN_FIRE1, AN_FIRE2. ( Refer to <Table 2> )

FIRE1, FIRE2, FIRE3, FIRE4 : fire individual control(On/Off) command for repeater 1 ~ 4 circuit,

OUTPUT1, OUTPUT2 : output individual control(On/Off) command for repeater 1 ~ 2,

 SWITCH : interlocking setting switch control(On/Off) command for receiver board,

AN_FIRE1 : fire circuit test control(On/Off) for photoelectronic type AN detector, 

AN_FIRE2 : fire circuit test control(On/Off) for constant temperature type AN detector.

5)  Extra2                   1 ~ 8 system number of repeater when FIRE1, FIRE2, FIRE3, FIRE4, OUTPUT1, OUTPUT2, AN_FIRE1, AN_FIRE2 command(Extra1).

Block Write

GSI-2000 CRT communication driver don't support 'Block write'.
